Carrow Cup Rowing Festival 2024

This event is for small boats and is not run under British Rowing rules
One of the oldest events in the country, also with Traditional Boats
The historic Carrow Cup is awarded to the fastest Coxed Four in any category

Division 1 - Short Course: 9:30am Start
Short course: Carrow Railway Bridge to Broadland BC
Open, Women's and Junior, novice or less experienced cox's
All boat types for less experienced crews
Division 1 - Long Course: 9:45am Start
Long course: Pulls Ferry to Broadland BC
Open & Mixed coxed fours; Women's quads (coxed and coxless); Open & Mixed double sculls
Division 2 - Long Course: 11:30am Start
for Traditional Craft, under handicap times
Long course: Pulls Ferry to Broadland BC
Traditional boats (only boats with fixed seats and no outriggers are eligible for prizes)
Division 3 - Long Course: 1:30pm Start
Long Course: Pulls Ferry to Broadland BC
Women's coxed fours; Open & Mixed quads (coxed and coxless); Women's doubles

​​A prize will be awarded to a winning crew for an event with at least 3 competing entries.

The committee reserves the right to move competitors up a category if entries in one are insufficient.

There will be an award for the most festive crew and boat

HEALTH and SAFETY: Please ensure your fancy dress is safe to row in (could swim if you capsized) and boat adornments are securely fastened. NRC scrooges will ask you to remove any unsafe items. No fleecy onesies!.
